Michael was amazing. 2 days before the wedding, Michael found out that due to unfortunate circumstances, he would be unable to photograph our wedding. Much to our surprise, Michael had two of his friends, Andrea Hallgren and Angela Drusid, come to photograph our wedding!! Our day was lovely, all thanks to these wonderful people! Michael's professionalism an dhonesty are something to be admired.

2011 was the second year our company was lucky to secure J. Michael for photography at our annual meeting, providing executive portraits, candids, and a group photo. His professionalism, patience, flexibility, and talent can not be matched and we look forward to working with him again in the future.

J. Michael was the ideal wedding photographer and a true artist behind the lens. From the quality of his photography to the ease of working with him, the pictures were an enjoyable part of our wedding day...this has not always been the case in other weddings where I have been in the wedding party. He is always calm and collected, and clearly had a vision for capturing the story of the day. When we received our photos, we defintely felt like we were reliving the events. Many people told us we wouldn't remember much of the day, and at the time it seemed like a blur, but looking back over the pictures sparked so many wonderful memories. I would recommend J. Michael 100% without reservation.

I couldn't have been happier with J. Michael. In our initial meeting, he was very laid-back, was easy to talk to, and truly gave me the impression that his main concern was that my fiance and I had a great day on the biggest day of our lives! He listened to what I was looking for, kept in constant contact with us, and arrived at the venue early the day of the wedding. Though we aren't normally huge on having our pictures taken, J. Michael and his assistant (a female photographer who shot the girls getting ready) didn't make us feel self-conscious. We were as comfortable as we would have been if a close friend had been behind the camera because they were patient, friendly and upbeat. The turnaround for receiving the photographs was pretty quick, too, and we were kept in the loop at all times during the process. A girl always dreams that her wedding will make her look and feel like a princess in a fairy tale, and I got that! The photographs were stunning, and I am so glad we chose J. Michael because what all the other brides before me said was true -- a great photo is worth 1,000 words and is the only way to really reminisce over the best day of your life!

Michael was an absolute pleasure to work with. He had such a great attitude and seemed to really be enjoying himself, which really shows through in his photography. He was flexible and willing to do any shots we wanted and captured our day perfectly. I will absolutely hire him again for any event or photo session we may have in the future and highly recommend him to others.

I had sent out several RFPs for photography services for my wedding. Any company whose pricing was over $2500 I eliminated. I choose Micheal's services after our meeting due to his creative eye. I didn't want to pay a lot and I didn't want just the traditional wedding pictures. He was the perfect fit. Micheal did a remarkable job. He was able to capture over 700 images in just a few hours during the wedding and the reception, with MANY pictures being portrait quality! He was not intrusive during the ceremony or the reception. I would highly recommend his services!

J. Michael was wonderful to work with. He did an excellent job listening to what we wanted and his pictures turned out beautifully. Plus, I loved the fact that I never really knew he was there, he was very unobtrusive and blended in with the guests.

Michael was VERY patient! We must have changed our minds about things 100 times but he never got frustrated...also we had a dual culture/religion wedding so there were certain things we needed him to be flexible about and he was very accomodating- he was there for almost 9 hours!! And yet he persevered! He was also willing to take the boring stilted pictures to make everyone else happy but he also took many spontaneous natural pictures which made me happy.... He is easy to work with and does not stress you out at all and my husband and I hate having our picture taken! We appreciate everything he did- I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer for any event.
