Wedding 101

I would not have survived the wedding planning process without the help of Wedding 101! I primarily worked with Kate and she was an absolute angel!! But everyone I talked to there was wonderful and helpful! I would recommend that every bride make their first stop Wedding 101!!!!!!

When Wedding 101 says they are a bride's best friend they are not stretching the truth at all! They really were my best friend throughout this whole process! In fact, I found myself going to Ashley Hicks to ask all those annoying questions that my actual friends and family got tired of attempting to answer. They have the knowledge and connections of a wedding planner and were able to help me sort through the massive amount of tasks necessary to pull together a wedding. I literally don't think I could have pulled this off without them! Seriously, over and over again they were there for me to help me choose the big things and even the little details like how many chairs to order and what color linens I should get. They helped me with everything! I knew I would love Wedding 101 when my fiance and I walked in there one afternoon after spending the whole day visiting possible locations. We had lost count of how many places we had looked at, and although we had a couple that were beautiful we hadn't found the perfect fit. Until we walked into Wedding 101. Ashley listened to what we thought we wanted, and asked questions to help understand us better. Then she recommended Governor's Club and we visited the next day and it was perfect! It was like she read our minds and knew exactly what we needed! We then learned that Wedding 101 was THE place to go for EVERY vendor, or question, or detail...anything and everything! We went to Weddinng 101 to meet with every vendor we chose, and almost everyone who played an important role we found through Wedding 101 including our incredible hairstylist, make-up artist, and cake. We also found our videographer through Wedding 101 and we think they were probably the best investment we made. We ordered our sand for the sand ceremony through wedding 101 and Ashley helped me sort through to chose colors for the bridesmaid dresses, linens, and flowers. I have no idea what I would have done without Wedding 101. They helped me find incredible vendors and helped me make important decisions. They were both my wedding planner and my best friend!! I was thrilled with how my wedding came together, and Ashley Hicks and Wedding 101 helped to make that happen, while also prevented me from going crazy in the process. Wedding 101 was the best find to help me in the planning process, and quickly became this brides best friend!!

I entered Wedding 101 looking for a wedding venue. One of the owners Asked some questions about what type of wedding we imagined and what we were looking for on our special day. She pulled a book that had a bunch of venues. We found one we loved from the pictures. The owner called and arranged a meeting immediately that day for us. She could have just given us the number and told us to call! We went to the venue and fell in love. I do not think we would have found the venue of our wedding day dreams if it were not for Wedding 101.

I went to Weddings101 because I saw an ad in a magazine. I walked in and was sooo excited to see a wedding library of all the vendors in the area! It was awesome! I worked with Ashley Hicks and she was so nice and polite! It's almost a free wedding planning site! Ashley set up meetings with potential vendors for me and all I had to do was show up! I loved it!! She helped me with a Day of Planner (Pam Everett) and I also used a paper company called Designs in Paper. My event was perfect thanks to Weddings101! They also give a checklist that is managable and that really helped me! Thank you sooo much, Kathleen McDermott now JONES!

My husband and I had a very short engagement (only about 8 weeks). He and I walked in to wedding 101 when we first got engaged and were greeted by Amy, one of Wedding 101's owners. We told her our plans and that we were on a time crunch and a budget. She sat down with us and provided us referrals for many vendors. We had a unique circumstance because we were planning a destination wedding in Hawaii and then returning to Tennessee for a reception. Since we were essentially having to plan two separate events, we did not want to incur huge costs. Amy contacted a photographer and two invitation designers and set up meetings with them for us. We ended up booking ALL of the vendors they suggested! We used the photographer, invitation designer, caterer, musician, hotel, linen provider, makeup artist and venue!!! All of the vendors we used for our wedding provided outstanding service and were extremely professional and personable. AND DID I MENTION IT'S FREE?!? Doesn't get any better than that! Wedding 101 made my wedding planning process pain free and enjoyable. I would have had a very different experience trying to plan such a huge event without their help. At the end of the day, wedding 101 made my wedding the day my husband and I had dreamed of!
