Thank God for Kristin at Simply Stunning Events! Because of her I didn't have to worry about a thing. We did the month of planning package and she jumped right in and took my wedding visions and made them a reality. If there were any snafus on wedding day i didn't know about them.

I worked with Ashley as my event coordinator. She was excellent! Initially, she was to assist me only for the month of the wedding. When things got hectic 3 months before the wedding, I brought her on full time. She was great at stepping in and taking control. She was able to plan meetings on short notice for me as well. She was also good to correspond many times with me during the week. She was a blessing! My wedding was perfect and it was all because of her! I could not have done it with out her!

We worked with Kristin at Simply Stunning for several months leading up to the wedding, and she far exceeded our expectations. She was extremely responsive throughout the entire process, constantly keeping us updated on deadlines, payments, and the little details that we didn’t think about. She always seemed to answer our emails the same day and was very flexible for in-person meetings. When we did meet with her in person, she always honored our busy schedules but made sure to cover all the items we wanted. Her vendor recommendations and general suggestions for the wedding were both helpful and appreciated. During the actual wedding weekend, Kristin (and her assistants) handled everything gracefully, and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. She pretty much ran the show, and we just had to make sure we showed up. We would definitely recommend Kristin to anyone looking for a smooth wedding and thorough planning!

Deciding to work with Simply Stunning was one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding. Sarah was fantastic—organized, quick to respond, helpful, and reliable. We loved the vendors she recommended and the little details she kept track of leading up to the event. On the day of, it was great to know that Sarah had everything under control—we completely trusted her and it was a great event!

Kristin Kaplan and her Simply Stunning Events team was single-handedly the best investment we made in our wedding. Starting with our very first meeting together, Austin and I have always been impressed by Kristin’s organization, poise, enthusiasm, and dedication to her clients. During this planning process, Austin lived in a different city, and Kristin was always considerate and accommodating to our schedules. She made herself available whenever Austin was in town, for she knew it was important to me to involve the groom in this process. During the wedding weekend, Kristin and her team made sure every single detail we had wanted to incorporate was executed. Many of our family members and wedding guests commented on how smooth our wedding events ran and how professional Kristin and her team conducted themselves. Equally as important, Austin and I were approached by several of our other vendors, including the band, videographers, photographers, and special performers, with praise and kind words about Kristin and her team. They all said that Kristin was a wonderful communicator and that things ran smoothly because everything was so well planned out. That made us feel so happy, for through this process, Kristin has become our good friend, and we are so proud of her work! Kristin did a great job planning my November 6th wedding. Since I had already done a lot of the preparation myself before I hired her, she was very flexible about creating a package for me that met my needs. Having her as a liason between me and all my vendors was invaluable, and there's no way I would've been able to get through the wedding day itself without her! Besides coordinating the entire event, she rescued a bridesmaid AND the best man from potentially disastrous wardrobe malfunctions...thank God for her sewing kit! If there were any other problems the day of, I didn't know about them (or notice them!) because Kristin handled it. Because of her I was able to enjoy my wedding day without worrying about all the logistics and everything else. I wouldn't have been able to organize the wedding and pull the whole thing off without her and her team! There's no question that you need a wedding planner no matter what your budget is, and I highly recommend Kristin to anyone!

Initially, we thought we could plan our wedding day without a planner and in the beginning we did a lot of research and made preliminary decisions on our own, but I am so thankful that we decided to hire Kristin Kaplan of Simply Stunning Events to help us throughout the planning process and for our Day Of coordination. As an usher in my cousin's wedding in Nashville, any anxiety or nervousness that I had was entirely eased with the natural ability and calm, cool, collective and confident professionalism of wedding planner Alex Bovee. Alex is a unique blend of beauty, efficiency and organization - with an attention to detail that is unparalleled. The personal connection that Alex was able to build with all members of the wedding party was pivotal in the grand scheme of what turned out to be the most special and unforgettable wedding any of my family has been a part of. Alex is multifaceted and displays characteristics similar to that of a director of photography on a movie set - as her combination of listening to your wishes and blending it with her own creativity and resources creates an atmosphere that will last a lifetime. Kristin is the best thing to happen to my wedding. There were many wedding vendors that I loved, and some that I adored, but I could. not. live. without Kristin. She let me make all my crazy plans and 12 page timelines-- and became my sanity when I couldn't handle any more details with 60 days to go. She was a go-to when making choices about colors, decor, and the "feeling" of our event. A planner is absolutley essential to any wedding and I have no idea how people get married without one. I did the "month of" package which was perfect for my situation (yes, I would've loved someone to make all the decisions for me and take away some of that stress...but I likely would've wanted to make them all myself anyways) Kristin was strong and stood her ground when it came to keeping everyone on schedule during our incredibly hot wedding day. She ensured that we were exactly where we needed to be, and that everything went according to plan. She is fantastic. If you're going back and forth on hiring a planner- do it.

Our day would NOT have been possible without Kristin Kaplan from Simply Stunning Events. We hired her for her "month of" package because we wanted to do the planning part ourselves, but wanted a professional to handle the details and make sure everything went smoothly. She won me over with her detailed timelines, wealth of knowledge, and total professionalism. She and her (wonderful) assistants turned our plans into a PERFECT reality. If anything went wrong, I certainly wasn't aware of it. She is utterly amazing! Could never have done it without her!!

Kristin of Simply Stunning Events was recommended to me as a wedding planner by a trusted friend who had hired her a few months earlier and we couldn't have been happier with the results. Her prices were extremely reasonable for the Nashville wedding planning market. We purchased a plan that provided us with multiple in-person meetings, unlimited phone and email contact (which we took full advantage of), and Kristin's presence at all of our vendor meetings. I was in the middle of my Internal Medicine residency when we began our planning process, which made me a busy bride-to-be. I knew I didn't have time to look up 25 different vendors for each item we needed, so Kristin gave us a list of 3-6 people to contact for each, which infinitely simplified my life. We loved almost everyone she recommended to us and ended up with a dream team for flowers, lighting, cake, catering, photography, etc. She was very prompt with her email and phone communications and was always punctual for meetings. As an indecisive bride, I really valued her taste and recommendations on everything from a color scheme to lighting to place settings and favors. On top of all that, we threw a wrench in the plans when we found out just a week before the wedding that our reception venue, which was supposed to be available for set up the night before our wedding, would be occupied until just a few hours before the ceremony started. Kristin took it all in stride and reorganized the whole team of florists, caterers, lighting designers, etc, and managed to make our room look absolutely stunning despite the time contraints. I'm sure that during the wedding day, there were issues and problems going on behind the scenes, but we were blissfully ignorant since she took care of all of it. I can't express how grateful I was to have her and her helpers there on the wedding day. I would highly recommend Kristin and Simply Stunning Events to any busy bride who needs some help from an organized, well-connected planner with great taste! Thanks for everything Kristin!

Kristin Kaplan was AMAZING the days leading up to my wedding as well as on the big day! I met with her numerous times to discuss details and little plans for how I wanted things to go that day, and she was always more than willing to talk to me about these things and provide me with guidance and advice about situations. We probably emailed back and forth over 100 times with regard to my wedding, and I can honestly say that Kristin was very professional and attentive, and always answered my questions in a timely manner. She put a great deal of thought into my wedding and was always there to offer up alternatives when my plans may not have been working out like I had wished. The day of my wedding, she took care of every little detail and I spent the entire day in such a relaxed mood because I knew that she had everything under control. She and her team were great that day, and I cannot thank them enough for all of their hard work. If there were any little glitches, I didn't know about them that day, and I appreciate that! I know Kristin worked extremely hard to make sure that I got the wedding I dreamed of, and you can tell that she is extremely talented at what she does. I would recommend her to any bride who is looking for someone with great advice and ideas who can completely take the reins and make sure that your wedding day runs smoothly! She is truly an awesome wedding planner!

Kristin planned my wedding for October 10, 2009, and I was very pleased with how things turned out. We began meeting as early as March, which was very good for me because I like to have things planned out way in advance. The thing that struck me most about Kristin above the other wedding planners was how extremely organized she was. It was very important to me to have a wedding planner that was organized and on top of things, and didn't seem to just "fly by the seat of her pants" and throw things together. Kristin was excellent in explaining her services to me & exactly what she would do & how she would do it, which was very helpful because the other planners were just too vague. She met with me numerous times leading up to my wedding, and we had countless email and phone call exchanges, which really eased my nerves. I could send her an email concerning just about anything and she would email me right back the next day, sometimes the same day. I could even send her emails when I was having a nervous breakdown from wedding stress, and she was so kind to help whatever it was I was dealing with. Kristin provides you with numerous to-do lists and calendars, which I found extremely helpful because I am a list-maker myself. One thing is for sure, I could not have had my out-of-town wedding without Kristin's help. I did alot of planning before I hired Kristin & went to several bridal shows (which made me realize I needed a wedding planner!), and anytime the original vendors I had picked out did not work, Kristin was there right away to find another vendor for me. She personally picked my florist and DJ, and helped me find my cake designer, and I absolutely loved every one of them! She also has connections with these vendors and numerous others and can get you discounts you wouldn't normally receive. The vendors she chooses are of high quality & are very professional. Basically, if I had a need, Kristin fulfilled it. On the day of my wedding, I never had to think once about which vendors were arriving & when, and if my decorations and food were there, etc. Kristin took care of all of that. As any wedding day goes, a few minor things went wrong, but Kristin was there to handle that as well, so my family & I had a wonderful day while she dealt with our dilemmas! For all that Kristin will do for you, her price cannot be beat, and I don't see how anyone could plan their wedding day without a wedding planner's help! I was very pleased with Kristin's service, and I would highly recommend her for your wedding day as well!

I can not say enough about the spectacular job Kristin did on my wedding. I was reluctant to hire a wedding planner, but when my mother and I met Kristin I just had a gut feeling that she would be great...and she was! Organized, patient, and affordable, she is everything you want in a wedding planner. She was the best investment we made!

Oh wow, what an incredibly personal review to write...where to begin on the one vendor who I grew closest to and most fond of? When I first "met" Kristin over the phone, I instantly knew she had the best laid-back personality and just enough industry knowledge to manage my type-A personality and restrictive budget. =) Not only was she completely patient, responsive and resourceful during our almost year-long contract period, she was friendly, honest, and has an great sense of humor. Since I live 1300 miles away from my hometown where the event took place, I can honestly say I could not have pulled off the planning process with any remaining shred of sanity without her help. Specifically, I needed major help in venue brainstorming. After our first phone call, Kristin produced an awesome and varied list of choices...several venues I wasn't even aware of and I grew up in the Nashville area! And when it came to the day of: forget about it! She was professional, courteous to our wedding party and guests, efficient, cool and calm and everything you wish for in a coordinator. I could go on and on, but I'll say this: don't think twice about hiring this woman, do it. She is a gem on the Nashville scene and I'm glad we got to snap her up at the beginning of her career because she is going to continue to grow in popularity and loyal brides. Thanks so much KC!
