Vicki spent a lot of time with us choosing the design and amazing flavors. We were so impressed with the choices of both and with her willingness to do exactly what we wanted, not to mention her creativity. She was also always there later on to answer any questions. The cake itself was an absolute beautiful work of art. We chose blue hydrangeas and white roses and they looked incredibly real. The flavors we chose out of the wide array were white chocolate truffle, chocolate truffle and caramel butterscotch and the richness of each was beyond description. We received raves from the guests and the people at Embassy Suites as well. She also explained to me in detail how to freeze and preserve the top layer for their first anniversary. I would highly recommend Signature Cakes to help make anyone's wedding beautiful and special.

Vicki of Signature Cakes by Vicki was wonderful! She helped me come out with a tastful looking cake with the colors that I had (Amethyst purple, Aqua, and silver.) The cake itself was very very yummy. I am definately keeping her in mind for future orders!

Vickie did an EXCELLENT job on our wedding cake! We were sold on her from the first consultation...she’s very professional and knowledgeable about the cake industry, and not just design, but everything from explaining her baking process, ingredients and flavors. As our wedding day approached, she called to verify delivery, timing, contact and wanted to ensure that I shouldn’t worry about the cake, because it was all under control and would be beautiful! At our consultation, I gave her my vision on the design and style of the cake…and to my amazement…she created it!!!! Our cake was absolutely BREATHTAKING! From the moment I made the first contact with Vicki, she was always very helpful, courteous, patient, and made suggestions when I asked her opinion. We had eight months to plan for my daughter's Nashville wedding, which was a destination wedding for us. Therefore, I corresponded with her by email and phone more than in person. The first meeting we had with Vicki was one of the most enjoyable appointments we had as we planned the June wedding. She had several flavors of cake for me, my daughter, and her fiance to taste test. As we ate, she sketched the outline of the cake as she obtained information about my daughter's dress, along with her preferences for the color choices, flavors, and style of cake she wanted. They chose layers of strawberry, lemon, and white chocolate, draping embellished with brooches, and topped with sugar flowers. When we left her home, we were confident that the cake would be just what Marcy had imagined it would be. And, Vicki came through just as we expected. Even when I called a month before the wedding to tell her we needed more cake to serve, she was very helpful and assured me that it was not a problem. I feel the price was reasonable for the amount of guests we served and for the masterpiece that she delivered. We had many compliments not only on the taste, but the design of the cake. Vicki did an amazing job on our wedding cake. During the taste test all of the flavors were amazing so we decided to get three different flavors and she had no problem making that happen for us. Vicki did a fantastic job with our wedding cake! She was very easy to work with and quickly responded to phone calls and email; she made that part of the wedding planning process a breeze. The "tasting" session is a lot of fun; we had a hard time choosing which cake flavors to use because all of the samples were so delicious!I was thrilled to see the cake at the reception - it looked beautiful with the exquisite details and also tasted wonderful! We got many compliments on the cake from our wedding guests and had people asking for pieces of cake in the days after the wedding. My cakes oh yes, cakes as in plural for my wedding day were awesome and my guests still can't stop talking about them. My husband's cake was phenomenal with the detail and my cake was everything that I had described to Vicki. Vicki is not only kind and professional, she is an artist and her cakes taste amazing. I met Vicki at a bridal expo in Franklin, TN and she had the most delicious cake there! I absolutely fell in love with the flavors and icing! We set up an appointment with her and were pleasantly surprised that she could work within our budget. She was so sweet; we absolutely loved her. And she sketches your wedding cake as you tell her what you want so you are sure she knows what you are looking for. Our cake was beautiful; we had three flavors and lots of guests ate a slice of each!

Vicki Nelson of Signature Cakes is first and foremost an incredible artist with a fine attention to detail and perfection. She was able to take the abstract idea in my mind for my wedding cake and define it on paper. The end result was a beautiful masterpiece of confection. Besides being aesthetically gorgeous, creative and unique, the different flavors of each layer were absolutely delicious. I have seen some pretty cakes that tasted like cardboard, but this cake was the best of both worlds. Your wedding cake is truly the centerpiece of your reception so it needs to be special. Vicki is hands down one of the best vendors in Nashville. Her cakes are beautiful and (more importantly to me) taste amazing. She was willing to work with my budget. Finally, my last tip is come to the cake tasting hungry...all of her flavors are amazing!

I can't imagine a better baker than Vicki. She loves what she does and it comes through in every aspect of her work. I am a huge foodie and I have to say that her cake is the best tasting AND most beautiful I have ever seen (so good we ate our "top tier" on our 2 month anniversary instead of waiting a year...it was too good to wait!). I personally wanted butercream (better tasting) and she made it look spectacular (even though it is harder to detail with than fondant). I would recomend her to any one at any time.

Every bride knows the wedding cake is supposed to be a show stopper. Signature cakes definitely accomplished that. My wedding cake was GORGEOUS! Her attention to detailed amazed me and and my guests. The inside of the cake tasted just as good as it looked from the outside. About fifteen minutes after I cut the cake, it was gone which is a sign that the guests loved it! ( I had 150). Thanks for making my wedding cake dream come true! It was a wonderful experience working with Signature Cakes and I hope I have the opportunity to work with them again!
