Sheraton Nashville Downtown

We held our rehearsal dinner here and all of our guests for the wedding stayed at the Sheraton. Working with Andrew and Dave was SO easy! When I first spoke with Andrew, he told me he'd match any other price we were getting around town; he ended up doing BETTER than matching! He made it so affordable for our guests to stay in a great hotel in downtown!Dave was the person we worked with when our guests needed to book rooms. Everyone commented on how responsive he was an how easy he was to work with!When we first started booking rooms, we were nervous because we didn't want to get stiffed if we couldn't fill them, so we started by blocking off about 30. Well when they booked up quickly with MONTHS to go until the wedding, Dave and Andrew said our guests were welcome to just give them a call and they would keep adding on rooms as needed. We ended up securing 80 hotel rooms!The rehearsal dinner was fantastic! A little pricey but really worth it, since everyone was staying there. We chose to do light appetizers, and it worked out great! Nice big room and really gave our wedding parties and families time to meet eachother.The only complaint we had was that since we had a large crowd, a lot of people got together down in the hotel lobby to chat, drink, and have a good time. Evidently a guest called and said they were being too loud, even though the bar was on the first floor and the rooms start on the 3rd. My guests were not out of control or breaking things, they were simply having a good time. Security came because they had to, and the officer explained that to them and said to continue on, but the manager on duty was not very helpful evidently. Since our families spent THOUSANDS of dollars to hold both the rehearsal dinner and all of our guests, I would have thought there'd be some sort of apology. We are definitely not hard to please, so that was surprising.All in all, I'd definitely 100% support anyone having their rehearsal dinner/guests/reception/etc here! We loved it, and we'll definitely be back to the Sheraton!

This was a great venue for a downtown wedding. A majority of our guests were from out of town so this was a great place for our guests to stay and be able to walk to the downtown sites.
