Pig & Pie Catering

Pig & Pie catered our rehearsal dinner AND wedding reception. John and his staff did a fabulous job at both events! The food was exactly what we asked for.....and the smoked chicken wings are our favorite. I was so pleased with the service and price I received from John that I now use Pig & Pie to cater my work events. I have and will to continue to recommend Pig & Pie to others without any reservations.

We love John Hamilton from Pig & Pie. We have a long history of business with Pig & Pie, from sampling food at his former restaurant to having him cater our recent wedding. From the beginning, planning our menu with John was so much fun! He was really receptive to my ideas, including a mashed potato bar and a bbq corn cake croquette. Pig & Pie was also very economical. John gave us many cost-effective suggestions, including some that took money off our bill to him! I had never heard of a caterer trying to save so much money for his clients. John and his wife also love to cater weddings. They were there early on the day of our wedding to set up everything. They also discreetly packed everything up before the end of the reception - I never even noticed them cleaning up the serving tables! The Pig & Pie team was very professional. All of the servers looked well-groomed and were friendly. We also hired our bartender through John. She was a dream - very professional, friendly, and cost-effective! We did play phone tag a few times, but, when we did sit down to discuss the menu, John was professional and very interested in helping with reception planning, from structuring the menu to serving food to cutting the cake to purchasing alcohol. We also had a misunderstanding over a cooler being left at the venue but, despite these minor snags, I still had a wonderful experience planning my wedding reception menu with Pig & Pie and would recommend them to friends and family.

We used pig & pie as our caterer for our wedding and could not have asked for better food or service. The food was amazing and there was more than enough to go around. Everyone raved about how wonderful the food was and it was very fitting for our outdoor wedding. John & his staff took care of everything for us and we didn’t have to stress about anything. John was very good at getting back to us in a very timely manner and was happy to work with us.I would recommend Pig & Pie catering for anyone who is looking for amazing barbeque for any event!

My husband and I were married on May 1, 2010, in Nashville, TN. Despite the flood conditions, John Hamilton and his crew arrived on time and were set up and ready-to-go. The display was very nice, and John and his staff were very efficient in serving our guests and very attentive to the bridal party needs and the guests needs. The food was delicious! We had many compliments on the food. We served grilled chicken, pork tenderloin, garlic cheese mashed potatoes, green beans, and rolls. We also had artichoke wraps and shrimp cocktail for hor 'deurves. I called the week of the wedding to add to the guest count, and John's response was, "No problem!" We would highly recommend John and his staff for delicious food that is very affordable! Thank you Pig & Pie!!
