Jonathan Howard was very professional while we worked together. He was clear about what he needed to do his job well and if he had any questions, he asked. He also took the time to sit down with me to discuss how I pictured my wedding and what I wanted that day to look like. Jonathan kept in touch with me the entire time we were working together making sure that we (My husband and me, wedding planner, and Jonathan) were all on the same page. Jonathan was personable and funny too, lightening the moode a few times when it was needed! Best of all, our pictures are awesome! He captured our wedding very well and we are all pleased with his work.

We booked Jonathan for our wedding and an engagement session. He was so wonderful to work with. He did an excellent job of making us comfortable with the camera. I am so excited to see the finished wedding photos. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone needing a photographer.

Perch Photography was wonderful to work with! They took the time to listen to what we wanted and made our fairytale wedding come alive. Jonathan was great! We love the way he captured our day. He did a great job rolling with what the day brought and was very flexible. Even though it rained on an off all day (for an outdoor wedding) he was able to capture some amazing shots. We couldn't be happier with our photos, they really reflect everything our wedding was. On my wedding day I didn’t feel that I had to worry about important shots being taken because I had full confidence in Jonathan. I was right!! All the pictures turned out great! The only problem I had was choosing which ones I liked best, because I loved them all! Anytime I had a question he responded quickly. I will definitely recommend Jonathan to all my family & friends. Not only does he capture the moment but his photos tell a story, as well!

On your wedding day, your mind is filled with a thousand things. The ceremony, the reception, not falling when you walk down the isle.... The last thing on my mind was my photographer and the pictures he would take. Jonathan made such an effort to get to know me and my husband and what kind of couple we were, what kind of pictures we wanted, the important shots, the ones I didn't even know he was taking that are now some of my absolute favorites! He did an amazing job and captured every moment with a beautiful snapshot of my perfect day. Many things go into planning a wedding. Every detail needs to be carefully considered to make the wedding whole. Having been through it all, I can honestly say that choosing a great photographer is a top priority. On the big day, most my focus was on my Husband and on savoring the magical moment of becoming husband and wife in the company of our loved ones. It all happened so fast that at the end of that day, I felt like I had missed a lot of it, including my dinner!! Jonathon Howard was able to capture all the precious moments: from the anticipation, tears of joy, the laughter, essentially the presence of the moment into our wedding pictures. That special day for me came and went, but I can relive all the emotions and gestures that was captured in my wedding photos. Jonathon was such a pleasure to work with. He enjoyed our wedding day as much and my Husband and I did because he really puts his heart into his work, and takes pride that each shot captures the unique moments of every wedding, with the same quality and professionalism that is always promised.

I was told about Jonathan through a mutual friend back in March when my husband and I were first engaged. After looking, talking, and meeting with SEVERAL other photographers I was pretty discouraged by what I had found so far. The pricing, quality or just overall hospitality was very lacking from the other photographers. Cliff (my now husband) and I met with Jonathan and clicked with him immediately. We knew we loved his personality but in looking at his work we were so excited to have him be a part of our wedding. Jonathan did our engagement pictures in the spring and we could not have been happier with the product. Cliff and I are not naturals in front of the camera, so, after a couple of awkward stiff pictures Jonathan really helped us to loosen up and be comfortable with him and with each other in front of the camera. I also had Jonathan do a bridal session for me a few weeks before the wedding. Once again, the outcome was more than I could have imagined. The pictures had such a natural, rustic feel to them which is exactly what we were looking for. Jonathan then did our wedding on Oct 29. I think that having a photographer there that your comfortable with is so important. I was a nervous wreck but through all of our meetings and getting to know Jonathan I felt so much more at ease knowing he was the one there to capture the memories of this perfect day. Cliff and I are so thrilled with the pictures that he got and are so glad that we chose Jonathan for our special day. He has truly become more than just our photographer but a great friend to us.
