Lavish Events

I used Tara at Lavish Events as a "Day of" Wedding coordinator. I didn't want the hassle of using one of my friends (plus most of them were in the wedding party), and I didnt want the pressure nor the worry on my big day. If you are planning your own wedding, I recommend getting a "Day Of" Wedding Coordinator.....it will be well worth the money. Once I handed over the reins to Tara, she contacted all my vendors and gave them a detailed schedule of when and where to be. The day of the wedding...I didn't receive ANY phone calls from any of my vendors...I was able to relax and get ready without worrying if something wasn't done. Your wedding day FLIES by, and I couldn't have imagined having that added stress. Tara did a wonderful job of taking over. She definitely was great to work with and worth every penny!

Tara was very nice to work with. We had two face to face meetings and e-mailed each other often. I had a lot of ideas about what John and I wanted before our first meeting and had accomplished quite a bit by then. I had already selected a caterer (Darryl Dening with Panache Catering) and had selected a florist. We had a small intimate wedding with family and just a few friends. Tara was at the location several hours ahead of time, putting out the decorations I had purchased, and setting up for the music. We did not use professional photographers or a band. We had two very close friends take candid pictures along with just a few family pictures prior to the guests arriving and two other close friends mix our cd's with the music we selected. Tara did the programs and made the families seating chart. All in all the ambiance, food, music and officiant were perfect. After the wedding, Tara took all the things I had purchased for decorations and repackaged them for us so that we could get out of the location on time. She did a great job and I would recommend her services to anyone who is looking for an event planner. Darryl with Panache has wonderful food, and took care of getting the cake which was out of this world. Dick's Florist did a super job with the flowers. Everything came off perfectly.

Tara was an amazing planner. We were originally targeting a wedding date one year out, and after a lot of prayer my husband and I decided to rush things much faster than that. We called Tara and told her we wanted to be married within the month. Instead of getting upset with us and possibly dropping us as clients, she calmly went through a list of questions to help us move forward and meet the target date. She was very thorough in making sure everything looked exactly as we wanted it and the event went off without a hitch. It was a beautiful day and one I remember fondly. I am very grateful for Tara and her ability to stay organized and on top of controlling the event. Lastly, Tara also arranged all of my flowers into beautiful centerpieces and bouquets and had excellent recommendations on what types of flowers I should use to stay within my theme and colors. :)
