Amanda did a good job with our ceremony. She was willing to work with us prior to the ceremony to decide what we wanted to be said and done. She struggled a little going through our rehearsal as Amanda is used to running the rehearsal vs having our wedding coordinator giving the cues. But the wedding went off without a hitch.

Amanda officiated our daughters wedding August 13th. She did a beautiful job. We had so many people comment on how wonderful she was, so professional, friendly and she really made my daughter and new husband comfortable, she organized the wedding party and made sure everyone knew what to do and when to do it during the ceremony. I would recommend her to everyone!!

I cannot recommend Amanda Dobra at Gold Dolphin highly enough. She was simply wonderful. She worked with us to create a ceremony that was authentic and meaningful. Her attention to detail and the time she took to get to know me and my husband made those moments at the altar tender, honest, and warm. Many of my guests commented to me that evening and in the following days that they loved the ceremony and were surprised to learn that Amanda hadn't known us for many years. They spoke about how kind and genuine she was and more than one guest said it was the best marriage ceremony they had ever heard. Amanda is simply terrific.

Amanda provided a very intimate service for me and my husband to renew our wedding vows. The ceremony was only for the two of us, no friends or family were invited, so right off the bat we were nervous...but Amanda made us feel very relaxed and truly focused on our love for one another. My husband had been asking me to marry him for a year and for a year I had continuously refused, not because I did not want to commit to him, but because I did not believe that marriage by today's standards was sincere. I saw marriage as a show you put on for everyone you know and the vows as something someone else came up with forever ago. My opinion changed when I attended my uncle's wedding, officiated by Amanda Dobra, the feeling in the room was honest and personal. My husband and I were married less than a month later with Amanda as our officiant. I felt instantly comfortable with Amanda and knew that there would be no judgement or criticism about any of the non-conventional beliefs my husband and i share. In addition to suggestions with vows and support with any concerns I had Amanda was also very helpful with all of the confusing legal forms and processes involved in marriage that we were completely in the dark about. I felt as if I had found a very knowledgeable and supportive friend, I will always be grateful and I would recommend her to any bride or groom!

gettting married out of state made me very nervous about finding the right officiant but soon after emailing amanda and getting a response back very shortly i instantly new i found the one. meeting with her she put me and my husband at ease and soon i looked at her more like a friend then someone who was just going to be marring us. we kept in contact thru emails and she made sure i understood and had everything set for our big day. and her rates were the best around as well.

Amanda was a Godsend for me and my Bride. We are from Michigan and we wanted to marry outdoors in Nashville TN on May 1st 2010. We arrived in Nashville on Friday, April 30th with a forecast of strong storms for our Saturday event (remember the floods?). I was very concerned that the wedding was going to be a thunderstorm nightmare. I called Amanda Friday afternoon and asked if it would be possible to move the date up to the very same afternoon. Amanda came immediately and performed our ceremony on the Shelby street walking bridge over the Cumberland River in beautiful downtown Nashville. It was a gorgeous evening and the wedding was perfect. A memory that we will cherish forever. Thanks Amanda, you are amazing!!!!!
