FocalPoint Cinematic Weddings

Picking FocalPoint Cinematic to do our wedding videography was one of the easiest decisions we made. We had visited their blog several months before we were engaged and could see the passion for their work pour over into their product. There is nothing "cookie cutter" about their videos. Each one is personal and tells a story. We really felt like we knew the bride and groom and could feel their love for each other after viewing each video. Jon and Kelsey were with us every step of the way. They were willing to work around our busy schedules to make sure everything was set before our big day. They were able to take special elements from our wedding and capture them in ways we did not see. Our video made it possible to sit back and see all the special details from our wedding day that we were not necessarily able to absorb at the time. We have watched our video many, many times and are brought to tears of joy and excitement each time! Our friends and family have all commented on what an amazing and professonal job they did. We look forward to carrying what was captured on our wedding day with us for years to come.

We could not have been any happier working with Jon and Kelsey. Throughout the entire process they were wonderful to work with. They were able to catch the entire day perfectly and were nearly completely unnoticeable. My wife and I were so happy watching the short film. It was totally worth it! Everyone that has seen it is blown away by the quality and how "movie-like" the video is. We highly recommend them to everyone!

Not only are Jon and Kelsey some of my best friends, but I got the honor of them producing my wedding video! Back before I even knew my now-husband, when they were just starting FocalPoint, I knew then that I wanted them to be the ones to capture my special day. I remember watching their first videos and being shocked and amazed at the talent they had together! But the thing that sets them apart from the rest, is that they have been there together through the process on the side you are. They have been the bride and groom, and they know what to capture, they know what you are feeling, and they want to do the best they can so you can have those memories for the rest of your lives together. In my honest opinion, I do believe that the fact that they are a true, loving and God-centered couple is what makes them the best. Their videos have always been better than others I've seen, and we are so blessed that they were able to do our wedding! Our video is one that we will cherish forever. If you want to be able to have a wedding video that is beautiful and captures the most intimate and raw moments, then FocalPoint Cinematic is definitely the choice to make!

Honestly- Kelsey and Jon are fantastic. I can't say enough about how easy they were to work with, in creating a package that fit our specific needs...not just something cookie cutter like a lot of companies are doing these days. These two absolutely love what they do, and it shows through their quality of work. I'd 100% recommend them to anybody.

Kelsey and Jon were wonderful to work with -- quick responses, flexible, adjusted their plans to give us what we wanted. The quality of their work is not only extremely high, but affordable as well. For what they're doing, they could charge much more! My wife wasn't convinced we need a videographer, but once we received our highlight video/short film, she said it was the best decision we made in our wedding planning. Not only are they one of the best in Tennessee, but they're one of the best in the South, trust me, I know! We got married in the Atlanta, GA area and looked at every videographer in Georgia, northern Florida, Alabama, South Carolina and Tennessee, and couldn't find anything of this quality in this price range. I would 200% recommend FocalPoint to anyone even considering a videographer.

This is a long over due review. But since it has been a year and half and I am still just as amazingly impressed with this company as I was the day of my wedding, this review deserves to be written. These people are not only talented at what they do but also just wonderful people. I had some excellent vendors but Focal Point truly went above and beyond. I didn't care about the videography for my wedding by my groom was insistent and did lots of research. We watched samples of at least 20 different videographers and were unimpressed and disappointed until we saw what Focal Point had. And now I can't stop talking about the service and products they provided for us! There were professional and friendly from the get go and truly added to the many great things of our wedding day. And now we can relive that day anytime we want thanks to the great videos we got! Focal Point was not only the best value at my wedding but also the highest quality. And, again, I loved almost all my vendors, so the bar was set pretty high and they exceeded it for sure! Call these people first, don't waste your time researching anyone else. My husband and I already did that for you :-)

Using FocalPoint Cinematic as our wedding videographer was that best decision we made for our wedding. Jon and Kelsey are two of the nicest people we've ever worked with. Effective listeners, quick responders, and two truly sweet souls, they try their absolute best to capture your day in the most beautiful and memorable way they can. And they do just that!

If there is a special place in your heart for video... FocalPoint's work is worth every dime! Their work was heart-felt, completely representative of our wedding, and extremely high quality. Their editing of our footage truly captured the magical quality we felt on our wedding day. The only suggestion I have for future brides is to request a DVD from another wedding FocalPoint filmed - so that you can see and understand exactly what the end product will be/how the DVD is set-up and organized.

Focal Point is are excellent videographers. They are a very professional team to work with and have excellent quality of work. Their video brought my entire family to tears.

Choosing FocalPoint Cinematic was the best decision we made for our wedding because we can now watch the DVD's anytime we want to relive our day that went by too fast. We are so glad we chose Jon and Kelsey to capture our wedding day! They were professional, upbeat, and always prompt with answers to our questions and requests. We loved getting a trailer of our wedding to share with friends and family online. Our full wedding video was beautiful and brought us to tears. They did an amazing job with music selection, editing, and capturing all the highlights of our day in an artistic way!

The Bufkins are the best!! I'm extremely happy with our wedding videos! I know I could not have found anyone else to capture our wedding day as well as these two did! They worked hard to get to know me and my fiance long before the wedding day came. They were incredibly prepared, and very flexible as a result. They showed up early to check out the ceremony location- and found creative places. The Bufkins really did so much more than capture the day. They helped us create memories of our own. On another note, some of my favorite wedding day shots from my photographer occurred during moments where they were videotaping us. Jon and Kelsey paid attention to the details. They provided us with a trailer within a few weeks of the wedding. Then, we received a longer clip that included the highlights. Finally, just 2 or 3 months after the wedding, we received the final product!! It was well worth the wait. (I'm still waiting to receive pictures from my photographer.) Basically, the Bufkins are professional throughout the entire process. You really are crazy if you pick anyone else to video your day.

As a bride, I debated back and forth on the importance of videography. I wasn't sure it was worth the investment or that it could really capture the spirit of my wedding. After seeing what FocalPoint Cinematic Weddings had created and meeting with Jon and Kelsey, I never had another doubt. Our video is truly a work of art and is something that I will cherish forever. These guys have a standard of excellence that surpasses any other wedding videography I've seen. We adore our vintage Super 8mm highlights video and our ceremony video that was shot in HD by FocalPoint Cinematic. Jon and Kelsey were a pleasure to work with, and I completely trusted them to provide professional service and footage that we will cherish for a lifetime. I have yet to find a Nashville wedding videographer's work that is the same caliber as FocalPoint Cinematic.
