I am a photographer, and finding my wedding photographer was the hardest decision I had to make during my wedding planning! Michael and Britanie were amazing!! They covered our entire day from getting ready to pumpkin bowling at the close of the reception. They made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera and managed to include almost everyone from the wedding in our photos. We had our pictures in record time!! We were truly amazed by the quality, quickness, and kindness of both Michael & Britanie. We will treasure our photos forever and will never forget everything that Michael & Britanie did for us on our wedding day!! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone who asks me about a wedding photographer!!

Michael was highly recommended to us. Though he is based in Tennessee, he agreed to travel to the Chicago area to photograph our wedding, and he couldn't have been more accommodating about it. He quickly responded to all of our e-mails, he met with us in person while he was in town for the holidays, and when the wedding weekend approached, he accepted our offer to come up the day before with his assistant, Britanie, to partake in our family picnic festivities and scope out the site of our upcoming nuptials for good photo-op locations. Michael and Britanie were on time (if not early!) the day of the wedding, and they stayed with us for more than 10 hours, until the very end of the reception. They were great sports about being pulled aside by people all night, asking them to take a photo. They even got into the spirit of the night and seemed to have fun! We just got our photo disc in the mail, and not a single moment was missed - we couldn't be happier with the results. Michael's creativity shines in his photos. He has a true appreciation for simplicity, he always finds just the right angle, and he makes every element look gorgeous. Thanks, Michael and Britanie, for beautifully capturing our day, and allowing us to relive every moment whenever we look at our photos!

Choosing Doerman Wedding Photography for our wedding was the best choice we could have made! In fact it was the only vendor who did exactly what they were paid to do: take beautiful pictures of our special day! Our wedding was a wedding of vender mishaps: wrong color flowers ordered by the florist (which we did not find out about until the friday before the wedding - after three design consultations), rental companies renting us faulty equipment and ruining the reception etc. Doerman Wedding Photography saved the day and did not miss a beat- or a shot- amidst all the chaos. Not only were we impressed with the accommodating and enthusiastic nature of Doerman Photography, but the caring attitude of the company as well. It was evident that both photographer's really cared about us as people; they cared about taking pictures of our special moments that we would love. In a market full of fancy equipment, overly- edited images and enormous price tags we wanted genuine images (of people we could recognize as ourselves ha) that were shot with skill, creativity and passion. We would recommend Doerman Photography to any bride and groom looking for a great experience.

Michael was amazing. He even came out the day before to scope the site out for pictures. Our photos were amazing, he captured our day so well that I re-live the day whenever I look at them. Could not have found a better photographer! His editing was amazing and he had our CD ready by the time we returned from our honeymoon!

Michael and his assistant were an amazing team. He has an amazing talent for capturing special moments on his camera. He was so laid back and made us relax on our special day. I only wish he did shoots other than weddings as we're expecting our first child and I wish he could be the one to capture images of our new addition! If you are lucky enough to be able to book Michael for your wedding, you will be amazed at the results.

Working with Michael was one of the best things about our wedding day! My husband and I got married on a Friday evening, and on the Tuesday before our wedding (yes, just 2.5 days before) our photographer cancelled due to injury! She reccommended Michael, and this was the happiest accident I have ever had. Michael had never met me or my husband, had never been to our venue, and knew absolutely nothing about the details of our wedding. He agreed to help us out, and was the biggest rock star. He went and spent all day Friday with our wedding coordinator and learning the venue and plotting shots. By the time I got to the venue, he was ready to go with great shots in mind. He made a lot of great suggestions for shots, but also was flexible letting us come up with our own shots and do things we wanted to do as well. He was completely professional and fun to work with. After the wedding when I had questions and wanted some of our pictures cropped professionally and changed a bit, he was quick to respong and help out! Everyone that sees our pictures just loves them! You won't be unhappy with Michael on your wedding day!

Michael and his crew were fantastic! They took pictures from every angle and got a shot of every important moment. They were funny and interactive as well. I couldn't have asked for a better photographer!

Michael was there for every part of my wedding day. He met me at the hair salon and was with me from that moment until we left the reception that night. He brought along a second photographer that followed the guys around while he stayed with me and the girls. They did an amazing job at capturing every part of the day and I couldn't have asked for anything more. He was great to work with and I'm so happy we found him to be our photographer :)

Michael Doerman is an amazing photographer! He was creative, captured all the important images, didn't get in the way of the guests who were trying to watch the ceremony, and made us all feel like movie stars/models. I was one of the bridesmaids for the wedding where I met him at, and after seeing the pictures from the bride, I will most likely hire him for my wedding! I know they'll get every shot and every moment, as they of my friend's wedding. The bride felt comfortable, the bridesmaids felt comfortable, and taking pictures wasn't stressful like I expected. He really made us look fabulous too! Like Vogue magazine cover! His team was really polite and professional. They knew what to do and got the job done. I really liked how there were two photographers to capture wedding activities from different angles, and they even split up to take pictures of the guys and the girls getting ready. Those pictures were awesome :) My friend received a wedding album from him and it was gorgeousss!!!
