Shara was an absolute pleasure to work with! We contacted her right before she was headed out on vacation and she wanted to make sure that we had a sample of her cakes before she left so she brought the samples to my work! I was shocked at her level of responsiveness and willingness to go the extra mile. Shara also did a fantastic job accommodating my various food allergies--a few I notified her of last minute! The cake was stunning and everyone loved it! Shara is awesome--absolutely awesome and I would recommend her to any bride to be!!

I got my daughters' wedding cake at the Pink Cake Box ..not only was the cake a piece of art, but everyone commented that it was the best wedding cake that they every had! One young lady and her date sat at the table and ate several of their "table mates' servings while they were away from the table dancing!

Cakes by Shara was INCREDIBLE! Our cake was beautiful! We chose the Rent-A-Cake option and were thoroughly pleased. She also did a "Neverending Story" themed groom's cake for us, BUT surprised us by making my husband and I into little people and put us on the back riding Falcor! Shara went out of her way to make our special day perfect! We will be back for anniversaries, and everything else under the sun, in the future!

Cakes by Shara is the most flexible wedding cake business ive worked with. My wedding was June 19, 2011 and i couldn't have asked for anything better. Shara is the sweetest and most generous women ive met in the cake industry. She responded to all my needs promptly, and had such great quality cakes with fresh fruit and ingredients. The banana cake she had baked us was delicious, with an assorted nut/cocunut filling and white buttercream icing. Oh you'll have to have a slice to know what i'm talking about....This review won't do it justice!!! Thanks for everything shara :)

I loved my cake! Shara was patient and really tried to incorporate what I envisioned in my cake while staying in the price range. The cake itself was delicious and several of the guests came up to us after to compliment how much they enjoyed it.

Since I was little, I was always set on having cupcakes at my wedding instead of the traditional wedding cake. Shara built a beautiful cupcake tower and also included a cake top for us to take home. Since I am gluten free, she made a batch (I think around 18?) gluten free cupcakes for myself and my mother (as well as two other gluten free guests). Her cakes are beautiful as well (we've seen pictures), but if you're looking for a cupcake tree at your wedding I wouldn't go with anyone other than Shara. We priced out many of the "cupcake boutiques" in Nashville, and she was literally 1/3 of the cost per cupcake. Great value and amazing taste.

Shara was SO incredibly helpful. When I first called her, my husband and I were interested in making mini versions of our cutting cake as favors for our guests. Shara didn't have to, but she explained to me that while it was a cute idea, we'd get a much better deal if we did cupcakes instead. From that moment on, I knew Shara was an honest business person who wasn't out to just milk a bride for all she's saved up!! I ran across some other vendors that were more concerned about what they could get me to spend, rather than helping me spend my money wisely.If her honesty wasn't enough to convince us to work with her on our cake and cupcakes, the tasting certainly was! Deliscious! Moist! The perfect combination of yummy cake and frosting! Shara doesn't overwhelm her cupcakes with frosting like some of the other vendors in the Nashville area. My husband wanted to take the sample plate home with us!! We even ate the fondant, and it was good! Most fondant is just....yucky. But not the fondant Shara uses, it is actually edible!Shara's prices are competitive and affordable. She is very conscious of a bride's budget offering rental cakes decorated to your preference, and then bakes sheet cakes to cut from the kitchen when it comes time to serve your guests! This is something we considered instead of sending our guests home with her cupcakety goodness. We just couldn't resist giving our guests a little taste of Shara's goodies for a late night snack. Our guests raved over the cupcakes! Some of our guests didn't even eat theirs until a few days after the wedding and they were still moist and delicious. If you are looking for a baker as sweet as her cakes, give her a call!

Our wedding cake was spectacular!!!! I gave The Pink Cake Box a couple of color guide lines and just let them be creative!!! The cake looked GREAT! and tasted awesome ;-D

The tasting appointment was fun and provided a good opportunity for making the right selection. The final cakes were beautiful and delicious.

Shara was WONDERFUL! She made us a very unique grooms cake, and we used one of her wedding display cakes. The cakes were a highlight of our wedding for many of the guest. The grooms cake was peach flavored and we had not a SINGLE piece left. Several people have told us since the wedding that the peach cake was the best cake they had ever tasted. Shara was so easy to work with. The display cake was beautiful and just what my daughter wanted for all the pictures. The strawberry sheet cakes were so easy to serve and it was the best strawberry cake I had ever eaten. Shara delivered and picked up the display cake and things could not have gone smoother. I would highly recommend Shara if you need a wedding cake. Shara listened to what my daughter wanted and made her special day perfect.

Cake was fabulous and Shara had wonderful advice! I thought my cake was beautiful...absolutely what I had wanted and the grooms cake was a hit! Thank you Shara!

Shara did an amazing job with our cakes. The wedding cake was exactly what we wanted. It was lovely and tasted amazing! Also, Shara did "kid themed" cupcakes for us and they were a huge hit. All of our guests raved about how wonderful everything tasted! We were certainly pleased and would highly recommend using Shara!

Shara is an excellent cake designer and baker. Beautiful and delicious cakes. She is talented, professional, and such a beautiful person. I highly recommend Cakes By Shara!

Shara was simply wonderful in every way. She worked with me to design the cake of my dreams. She worked with me on price as well. It was not only beautiful to look at but it was the most amazing taste that ever graced my tastebuds. Shara was a perfect 10 all the way.

Shara was so great.. We went to her and told her exactly what we wanted. I wanted a 3 layer cake with piping all around the layers and columns with red roses in between each layer. Our bottom layer was almond flavor (simply delicious) Middle layer was Strawberry with Creme filled (so so good) Top layer is orange dreamsicle (can't wait to try).. The Groom's Cake was a Xbox 360 with chocolate cake (i'm not a chocolate cake person but this was so yummy) The xbox looked so real with a controller on top.. At first I was so afraid of picking someone that I knew nothing about. But I worried for nothing.... Shara did a fabulous job and I will use again for other occasions...

I lucked out with Shara. Our wedding venue was flooded out and we had to have it moved in three weeks. The original contract that we had with the flooded-out venue had an in-house bakery that was going to be making my cake. Well, that wasn't going to happen anytime soon.So, my wedding planner took me to Cakes by Shara, and I gave her a picture of what I wanted and she did it up to a tee! It looked like she pulled the cake out of the picture and plopped it on the table. It was amazing. Also, we had a groom's cake made. I wanted her to make a cake that looked like a milk jug and she did it! She even put an experation date on it: "Best by: May 21, 2010." It was awesome. We actually had some guests come up and ask why there was a milk jug on our table. Amazing. I do not know how much the wedding cake was as the new venue honored the cost of our old contract, but for what I got for the groom's cake I felt was worth every penny. I would recommend her to anyone.

Not only does the cake taste out of this world but we had a hard custom order noone would do cupcake centerpieces that looked like flowers in a flower pot. Not only did they say no problem but they looked beautifuland real. That's all people were talking about at our wedding. Anyone who is getting married hire pink cake box!!

I am so glad I went with Shara for our cakes. She was so sweet and even went out of her way for my wedding as it fell on the same day as her nieces. The cake was beautiful and tasted just as good as it looked, and the groom's cake was beyond words. It was so perfect that everyone had a slice before my husband could even get to it. She is very reasonably priced and is just wonderful to work with.

Shara is AMAZING! After the flood in Nashville, I had lost my house, cars and most vendors for my wedding 4 days before the big day. I called Shara, who is extremely accommodating, fit in last minute cupcakes and made a design similar to what I had worked with my original baker for the last year. She is a great person. She would be a good person that should be considered for your wedding day.
