Cakes By Shara

Cake was fabulous and Shara had wonderful advice! I thought my cake was beautiful...absolutely what I had wanted and the grooms cake was a hit! Thank you Shara!

Shara was simply wonderful in every way. She worked with me to design the cake of my dreams. She worked with me on price as well. It was not only beautiful to look at but it was the most amazing taste that ever graced my tastebuds. Shara was a perfect 10 all the way.

Shara was so great.. We went to her and told her exactly what we wanted. I wanted a 3 layer cake with piping all around the layers and columns with red roses in between each layer. Our bottom layer was almond flavor (simply delicious) Middle layer was Strawberry with Creme filled (so so good) Top layer is orange dreamsicle (can't wait to try).. The Groom's Cake was a Xbox 360 with chocolate cake (i'm not a chocolate cake person but this was so yummy) The xbox looked so real with a controller on top.. At first I was so afraid of picking someone that I knew nothing about. But I worried for nothing.... Shara did a fabulous job and I will use again for other occasions...

I lucked out with Shara. Our wedding venue was flooded out and we had to have it moved in three weeks. The original contract that we had with the flooded-out venue had an in-house bakery that was going to be making my cake. Well, that wasn't going to happen anytime soon.So, my wedding planner took me to Cakes by Shara, and I gave her a picture of what I wanted and she did it up to a tee! It looked like she pulled the cake out of the picture and plopped it on the table. It was amazing. Also, we had a groom's cake made. I wanted her to make a cake that looked like a milk jug and she did it! She even put an experation date on it: "Best by: May 21, 2010." It was awesome. We actually had some guests come up and ask why there was a milk jug on our table. Amazing. I do not know how much the wedding cake was as the new venue honored the cost of our old contract, but for what I got for the groom's cake I felt was worth every penny. I would recommend her to anyone.

Not only does the cake taste out of this world but we had a hard custom order noone would do cupcake centerpieces that looked like flowers in a flower pot. Not only did they say no problem but they looked beautifuland real. That's all people were talking about at our wedding. Anyone who is getting married hire pink cake box!!

Shara is AMAZING! After the flood in Nashville, I had lost my house, cars and most vendors for my wedding 4 days before the big day. I called Shara, who is extremely accommodating, fit in last minute cupcakes and made a design similar to what I had worked with my original baker for the last year. She is a great person. She would be a good person that should be considered for your wedding day.

Our cakes were beautiful!!! Shara did everything she could to make our special day even more perfect!!! Thank you!!!

Shara, was amazing! She took my ideas and made a beautiful cake that was by far more than I ever expected. The cake was absolutely the best cake I have ever tasted, and everyone at the party was thrilled with it. We loved it! I would highly recommend Shara for any cake that you may need. She is great to work with and her cakes are awesome. I will be using her again for a cake for a party that I will be hosting. Thank you Shara for a wonderful experience.

Working with Shara was truly a pleasure. Not only did she provide me with a beautiful cake for my wedding day in addition to an awesome Arkansas Razorback grooms cake, Shara also made a wonderful (and quite tasty) cake for my bridal luncheon. I even asked her if she would make a "Happy Birthday" cupcake for my matron of honor (her birthday was the day before my wedding) and she happily obliged! All of her work turned out great, and the guests commented on how wonderful the cake not only looked but also tasted! Shara was very professional and corresponded with me on numerous occassions to make sure that all the details were right before my wedding day. She was very dedicated to making sure that everything she made for me was perfect, and I have to admit that it turned out better than I could have ever imagined. Also, I have to say that Shara's work was very well priced for how great the service and the cakes were! I would recommend Shara and her work to any bride that is looking for a great cake from a very respectable vendor. She was great to work with!

I ABSOLUTELY loved working with Shara. We received so many compliments on our Rent-A-Cake (RAC) and it photographed beautifully. Shara took the time to meet with me in person, patiently went over how the RAC works, and really cared about her cake from start to finish. I have advised other brides to contact her and will definitaly work with her again in the future when it's baby shower time.

We purchased a foam cake covered and decorated with fondant and a groom's cookie cake. The wedding cake was picture perfect, and the real cake insert in it was Yummy! Everyone loved the look of the cake, and it was so reasonably priced. Thanks to Shara for the GORGEOUS cakes!!!!

GREAT WORK! I gave Shara a picture of my bridal cake and grooms cake and the finished product looked exactly like the picture. The cake was really fresh! I will definitely use Cakes by Shara again and refer her to many people. Thanks Shara for such great work!

Great to work with and wonderful, tasty cake!!

My husband and I cannot rave enough about working with Shara for our wedding cake! We met Shara at the Nashville bridal show and her cake samples were so far above the competing bakers it wasn't even fair! We believe strongly your cake should taste as good as it looks, and Shara far surpassed our expectations. She was accommodating during our first meeting, brought delicious samples (and large portions!), and offered advice and guidance on all of our wedding cake questions. My husband took one bite of her carrot cake and declared he didn't need to try any other cakes because THAT was our wedding cake. My friends and family still rave about Shara's carrot cake even 1 year after our wedding! I recommend her to anyone for any occasion!

Shara's work is amazing! She was willing to work with my hectic schedule before the wedding and provided many samples and artistic value. My grooms cake had never been done before but she pulled it off. Everyone at the wedding was talking about it. I highly recommend Shara.

I would 100% recommend Shara to anyone. She is very honest and professional, yet also very kind and accomodating! It's hard to find all of those things in a wedding vendor. She really knows what she is doing- if something you are wanting is a bad idea, she'll kindly let you know there might be a better way to go! But really, I've seen her do just about anything! Her cupcakes are amazing and award winning! Her flavors and presentation are great! I'd definitely use her again- by recommending her or using her for b-day cakes, other parties, etc!

Shara made us a beautiful "topsy turvy" spice cake based on a photo we provided. It was a pleasure meeting her for our consultation and cake tasting, and she was a wonderful woman to work with and very open to talk to.

Shara is absolutely amazing! She takes extreme pride in her work, and has a genuine interest in making your wedding cake the best she has ever done. She met with my fiancee and I with cupcake samples of the flavors that we liked and was extremely flexible with design. I changed my design completely a few months out, and she went with it. I felt completely comfortable in letting her make suggestions and alterations to my ideas. I gave her a piece of my wedding dress from the sash and she copied the flower pattern perfectly onto the cake. She is professional and friendly. With Shara you won't have to worry about anything... she even referred me to a great florist!

Shara Lunn was very professional, yet very flexible and personable in planning the wedding cake that my daughter dreamed of. It was strikingly beautiful, and tasted incredible! Everybody who saw the cake was struck by its uniqueness and beauty. The groom's father works in the food and events industry and he was amazed by the cake--it was perfectly smooth.
