A Catered Affair

Hands down the BEST catering company in Nashville. They catered my fabulous wedding as well as my wedding cake. They are so great to work with and very flecxible. I wanted to taste the food before I made a definite decision and they were willing to let me and taste test foods during a wedding in the back kitchen area they were in. GREAT FOOD, GREAT PEOPLE, AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

One of the main things people said during the wedding and after is how good the food was. A catered affair did a wonderful job, even the salad was delicious. We couldn't have asked for anything better and highly highly recommend them. They even came up with a vegetarian dish for 4 of my guests that they really loved as well. Kellie and Chef Gary the food was fantastic.....My favorite, the demitasse shooters of squash soup and the goat cheese bites! Everyone commented on how delicious it all was. I am looking at our pictures from Myrick and the food display was absolutely gorgeous!!!!!! Chris was even pleased and I told you, if he can be pleased with the food, you are a winner!!! Thanks again!!!!!

Main Event Productions recently catered our wedding. The food was fresh and delicious. The menu variety was vast and the chef went above and beyond for all requests we had. Everyone at the wedding left with a full, happy belly. We can't want to use them again for our 25th anniversary.

My husband and I have traveled a great deal, and we know good food. So, this was one of the areas of our event planning that we were highly focused on. We both had very high expectations, and A Catered Affair worked with us over the course of several months planning a unique menu for our wedding. We had incredible appetizers such as bacon wrapped duck and entrees included gremolata lamb lollipops and calvados quail breast. Chef Gary created a banh mi (Vietnamese sandwiches) station just for our event. The food was absolutely outstanding, and the finished product exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend this team.

We worked with Amy Witcher at A Catered Affair and she was remarkable. The food: Our cocktail hour featured pesto shrimp and a gorgeous display of fruit and cheese. Because the bride is a Chik-Fil-A addict, her Daddy asked them to get a large tray of chik-fil-a nuggets for her. They did that at cost and didn't even upcharge for the pickup and spearing the nuggets on cute skewers and passing them around on a silver tray with barbeque sauce. The food served at the wedding was a spring salad with their signature naval orange vinagrette (or ranch dressing), followed by steak, salmon picatta and pasta primavera. We had some vegetarians who raved about their meal and the kids who attended loved the mac and cheese, Catered Affair chicken nuggets (and Chick-Fil-A is a hard act to follow), corn and grapes. Their bread basket was awesome with several different and delicious choices.The Service: No matter how good the food is, the service also has to be good for people to really enjoy themselves. The bartenders and waiters were superb. The one who handled the bride and groom made sure that they had everything they wanted and they identified that my husband (FOB) was a red wine drinker and his glass was never empty! We did have to ask for Sweet and Low but it was brought immediately. Our guests were treated just as well and several commented on how pleasant and helpful the waiters were.The Cost: Extremely good value for the money we spent.Flexibility: If the people at A Catered Affair were any more flexible they would have to be in the circus. Seriously, every request we made was honored, even when I needed sandwiches at the church at the last minute for the bridal party.There is no way to commend Amy and the team at The Catered Affair for everything they did to make the wedding reception delightful, delicious, beautiful and fun. By the end of our consultations, they felt like family members, not caterers. Several of our daughter's guests are now considering the venue and the caterer now based on their experience at our wedding. Our daughter told us that her wedding surpassed her dreams.We're not just happy, we are ecstatic! Thank you all so much.

A Catered Affair provided a breakfast buffet for my morning reception, and it was even better than I expected. My fiancee's (husband) only request was that we have sausage biscuits and they were delicious! The rest of the food was also excellent.

A Catered Affair is such a wonderful catering company. The food was amazing and and Amy took care of anything that we needed. She took care of any nutritonal needs that came about and was absolutely wonderful to work with. I would recommend this company to any bride and groom!

The service and food we received from A Catered Affair exceeded expections! The food was delicious and gorgeous! The custom wedding cake was unbelievable. I can't thank them and their staff enough for making my wedding day perfect!

The A Catered Affair Team is a team filled with consumate professionals. They are fun, knowledgeable, creative and all around an amazing support for any bride/groom to be. We decided to do some pictures after the ceremony and let our guests enjoy the amazing food, atmosphere at Events at 1418 and view our amazing cake by The Bake Shoppe (all part of A Catered Affair/Main Event Productions)....not once did I wonder how things were going. The reviews from our guests were incredible, the staff was superb, the night was memorable and not once was there a time when they were not on top of every detail and need of our party. Simply Amazing!

A Catered Affair handled all the details of my big day! From rentals, food, cake, ceremony coordination and the list goes on and on. My day could not have been more perfect! I was a nervous nelly that morning running around doing last second details and as soon as the catering team arrived I was at ease. Kellie and Judi took extra care with every detail down to the food signs. My guests still talk about the food and the service and the decor. My family and friends were so well taken care. I never had to worry about a single thing! The food was excellent, the cake was exquisite... it matched my dress perfectly right down to the buttons! I could not say enough good things about the quality of the food, service, and staff. I would highly recommend A Catered Affair and The Bake Shoppe for any event!

I really can't say enough about the team at A Catered Affair. People are still talking about our wedding over 2 years ago because ACA made it fantastic. The staff worked wonders and did so in such a friendly manner. The food was delicious and the presentation amazing. Kellie Bryson is so flexible and creative and also has a really soothing voice which is nice for a stressed out bride to hear! A stress-free wedding is guaranteed if you hire A Catered Affair to cater your wedding. I was very lucky to find them!

Main Event Productions/A Catered Affair did an adequate job with our sit-down dinner for 135 people. None of our guests commented about wedding food. We paid a substantial amount of money for a special cocktail hour with a large cheese, fruit display and were very disappointed. The cocktail hour buffet display was not a "wow". It was satisfactory. We felt that the wait service was fair and inconsistent. 10 waiters for 15 tables should have provided much better service. Plates were quickly placed in front of guests in a quick manner. Water was not continually replenished and waiters seldom asked guests if they would like a drink (even soda or coffee). People had to request drinks throughout the dinner.

we were not happy with the quality of food served. we asked for cheese & crackers & fruits. We asked for NO stinky cheeses & that is all there was. we asked for certain fruit & it was not provided at all.
